City Love Series – Jill Glaser Founder/Owner of Make Up First ® School of Makeup Artistry!

I recently discussed some of my favorite places in Chicago with the artists of The Makeup Show. Check out what I have to say in their latest blog post! We are so excited to have Chicago based Make Up First® School of Makeup Artistry as a sponsor with us at this years The Makeup Show Chicago!

Established in 2006, Make Up First® School of Makeup Artistry is the premier makeup artistry-training program in the Midwest. Located in the heart of downtown Chicago, the School offers a comprehensive makeup artistry education for new artists, as well as advanced courses and workshops for those already working in the field.

Make Up First School is state-approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education.  Make Up First is also an approved sponsor for CE under the IL Barber Act  (for those estheticians and cosmetologists who need to satisfy state licensing requirements.) The School is also approved for student discounts from M.A.C. and Make Up For Ever cosmetics. Make Up First ® School also has an in-school store, open to the public, which offers a multitude of professional cosmetic products, otherwise unavailable elsewhere in the Midwest.

Each of the School’s instructors is a professional, working in the industry of their craft. The instructors include artists from Broadway productions, Ravinia, the Goodman Theater, Lyric Opera of Chicago, board-certified dermatologists, photographers, and media makeup artists. Celebrity guest makeup artists are frequently invited to the School to offer even more invaluable information and training.
