The mission of the School is to ensure the best education possible so that the student will be best prepared to pursue makeup artistry as a viable career. The School is nationally recognized as an excellent educational art program for makeup artists in Chicago. Students will not only gain experience in Chicago, but will be exposed to major artists from New York and LA. Students will also meet photographers and others successfully working in the industry throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.

No, we welcome all skill and experience levels. Attendees do not need to be cosmetologists or estheticians.

The Student Makeup Kit is $800. Payment for the kit must be made on or before the first day of Basic I.

Students can also stay in touch with the Makeup Artist community by staying connected with Make Up First® through networking and social media. We have a private Facebook page for past and current students that offers job listings. If interested, students may apply for jobs listed on this page.

Yes! Our special events are open to the public and include workshops on holiday makeup, as well as guest artists such as Linda Mason, Jordan Liberty, Roshar, Tom Devlin, Eve Pearl, Roy Wooley, Julie Begin, Michael Devellis, and James Vincent to name a few.
