Lane has been an integral part of the School since 2008. Lane not only “runs” the School, she also teaches Basic, Media and Theatrical Makeup. Lane also works as a Chicago-based freelance makeup artist, specializing in both beauty/fashion and special effects. When teaching, she likes to bring aspects of her fine art background into the classroom. Among her varied accomplishments in the art world, Lane has illustrated and designed for a high-end Italian shoe/handbag company.

Dena Miller

Dena is also an Illinois -licensed esthetician; she received her training in 2008 from Tricocci University. In addition to her freelance work, Dena also has extensive experience working in the retail sector. At Make Up First®, Dena is an assistant as well as an instructor. In view of her background and training as an esthetician, Dena is an invaluable instructor for the Clinical Makeup Course.

MATTHEW HARRIS M.D.
ClinicalDr. Harris is a board certified dermatologist who received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and his dermatology degree from New York Medical College. He has expertise in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, and maintains a busy practice in the western suburbs of Chicago. He is also a clinical instructor for the Hinsdale Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program.
